Action Guide
The Center’s Action Guide for Education Organizing is aimed at experienced
community organizers, new to the arena of school reform. We hope it will help
organizers think through the context in which the work takes place, information
on policy and funding, sources for research and information, and offer examples
of campaigns, issues, strategies and tactics.
Developing issues and ideas doesn’t always happen in a linear fashion.
So we’ve set up this Action Guide so that you can look at the contents
in the order that makes the most sense for you! Each section of the guide is
available below in pdf format. You’re invited to peruse them at your own
pace, and in your own order. Or, you can download the entire document by clicking
on the link in the middle of the circle below.
We’d like your feedback! This Guide is web-based only, so that we can
collect your feedback and comments before developing a print version. Let us
know what you think! What needs to be added? What needs to be expanded or developed
more? What sections were the most useful for you? To provide feedback, send
us an email!
